Borough Councillors

Brian Lamb - Bere Ferrers

Upon leaving school, for five years I was a member of police forces in Birmingham and North West Europe, including Berlin.

Burrator: Diana Moyse

Diana was first elected to West Devon Borough Council in 1999. Prior to that, she was the Clerk to Burrator Parish Council. As a West Devon councillor, Diana’s main interest has been in planning, where she chaired the Future Planning and Housing Committee – then one of the council’s two main strategic policy committees.

Tavistock North: Neil Jory

"I am standing for election for the first time, having lived and worked in the Tavistock area since 2002. If elected, I will use my experiences as a qualified Chartered Secretary, Finance Manager and local business owner to represent the interests of the residents of Tavistock North.

Dartmoor: Annabel Roberts

"The landscape of Dartmoor has been shaped over the generations by those who have lived and worked on it. It can be a harsh, unforgiving place, but is also peaceful and extremely beautiful through the seasons.

Tavistock South West: Jessica Evans

"I grew up in south west Tavistock and attended Tavistock Primary School and Tavistock College, training in Hotel and Catering Management. I have been a Lamerton Parish Councillor for four years, gaining further experience by attending councillor training courses run by West Devon Town and Parish

Tavistock South East: Debo Sellis

Debo is married to locally born retired fire officer John Sellis, her family has four children and four grandchildren, and she has a wealth of experience in local government.

Tavistock South East: Robert Oxborough

"I am delighted to have served the people of Tavistock South and West Devon for the last four years, for much of which I chaired the Communities Committee. Four years is not a long time but in difficult financial times I have achieved some significant positive results:

Tavistock North: John Sheldon

"It has been my pleasure to serve and represent you. Being a Councillor is not all about being on Committees but I am on more than any other Councillor at West Devon Borough Council. This ensures that I have an input and understanding into what affects Tavistock North.

Milton Ford: Bob Baldwin

"Having chosen to live in West Devon some 7 years ago, I am keen to conserve the heritage assets, landscape and biodiversity of the borough.
