Downing Street confirmed Geoffrey Cox’s appointment as part of a number of changes to Theresa May’s Cabinet.

Geoffrey Cox will now attend Cabinet meetings. He replaces Jeremy Wright QC, who was announced as Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport after four years as the Attorney General.
