Our CWO (Conservative Women’s Organisation) in Devon play host to a three hour inspirational businesswomen event. Aimed at young women who want to set up their own business, but all are welcome.

Speakers, stalls, tea, cake, plus the chance to chat to your CWO team.

About Teresa Bulford-Cooper
Teresa is an experienced, award-winning Coach, Former Harley Street Clinical Hypnotherapist, Published Author and Business Mentor with over forty years of experience. Having trained extensively with the world-renowned Hypnotist Paul McKenna and the Co-Founder of Neuro Linguistic Programming, Doctor Richard Bandler, Teresa is also a licensed NLP Master Practitioner and Trainer.
Although Teresa has an extensive background in Science and Biology, (MSc in Science and a PGCE in Further Education from The University of Exeter,) she now specialises in Business, Personal and Youth Coaching.
In November 2019, she launched her new book “Ladies, Let’s Get Going : Starting & Growing your Dream Business” which gives advice about the business world, whether you are a fully established CEO or someone just starting out in the field. 
As a working woman trying to decipher the work/life balance for herself, Teresa understands and shares with her readers the importance of prioritising tasks, apportioning time, and communicating effectively. This ensures that realistic targets are set and met, without impacting on very important family and rest time.
With many accolades to her name such as Venus Awards Most Influential Woman Semi-Finalist 2019 and Finalist in The International Coaching Awards 2019, Teresa is undoubtably a very inspirational woman with a mission to help as many people as she can, in the ways that they need.

DEBBIE FLINT
Author, TV presenter (BBC, QVC), shopping tv trainer. Runs @retreatsforyou writers’ retreat in Devon. Volunteer coordinator and fundraiser TWDCA / CWO chair.
Debbie’s career began with a business degree from the London School of economic‘s, and an early career in finance, after gaining 15 GCSEs & 5 A-levels. After becoming the first girl in the BBC broom cupboard after Philip Schofield, her TV career included her own game show on BBC one, many interview shows, and since 1994, shopping TV, including QVC the shopping Channel where she is now. In a break from QVC, Debbie ran an importing company and returned to finance, worked in the health food industry and gained a professional Operations Manager qualification. 
For over 20 years she has trained people on the Secrets of How to sell. Now, after writing several novels, and a non-fiction series, Debbie helps other authors too: she moved to Devon in 2016 to run a guesthouse/writing retreat in Sheepwash near Holsworthy. It is also an embryonic vintage tearoom (see Sheepwash Tearoom fbk page). 
Charity work : ambassador for Medical Detection Dogs, the dogs helping humans charity.
Volunteering - apart from being a fundraiser and event organiser for the local Tory party, Debbie is spearheading the Big Countryside Clean this June, targetting the strictly-controlled, invasive Himalayan Balsam fast-spreading weed on our riverbanks on the Upper Torridge area.
